Kellie Schuneman broke the free throw record for most consecutive free throws made, currently going 37-37. The old school record was held by Kathi Fischer, 1979-80. Kathi's record was 24 in a row. For the season Kellie is 52-57 from the line, 91%.
The streak started against Briar Cliff when Kellie converted 14-14. It continued against Northwestern, IA when Kellie went 7-7. Against Dakota Wesleyan, she added 4 more to break the current record of 24. Going into the game against Mt. Marty, Kellie was 25-25 and then went 12-12 to extend the streak to 37-37. Kellie will continue adding to the streak against Minnesota Morris.
