Jimmies Beat Morris by 19 to Run Win Streak to 9


Allison Epping and Ali Edwards (pictured) each played huge roles in leading Jamestown College to a victory over Minnesota Morris. Epping scored 19 points, going 9-10 from the field and she also added 6 rebounds. Edwards scored 7 points, but created a lot of problems on the defensive end for Morris. Edwards ended up with 7 rebounds and 6 steals. She also tipped a lot of passes that led to turnovers. JC forced Morris into 31 turnovers and held them to 31% shooting on the night.


Jamestown College ran its win streak to 9 games and they are currently 10-2. JC had three players in double figures. Following Eppings 19 was freshman Mara Paulson with 13 and sophomore point guard, Kellie Schuneman chipped in 10 points. Katie O'Neill and Ali Edwards each added 7 points and Amanda Rantapaa rounded it out with 6 points. The Jimmies totaled 44 rebounds and 19 assists.


The Jimmies travel to Minot for two games this weekend. The Jimmies face Montana Western on Friday and Montana Northern on Saturday.
